Building Neighborhoods. Empowering People. Transforming Muncie. 8twelve exists to strengthen and connect the people and places that make Muncie thrive. Built on what we’ve accomplished since our start in 2015, we know that lasting change begins with empowered residents and strong partnerships. Together, we are creating neighborhoods in the 8twelve target area, and beyond where everyone belongs and contributes. The strengths within our neighborhoods make it evident much has been achieved. The needs within our neighborhoods make it clear our work is far from finished.

The Governance and Sustainability Council provides governance, strategic oversight, and long-range financial sustainability for the coalition. The Council is composed of 10 members representing key stakeholder groups, including advisory representatives from Open Door, the Steering Committee, and Residential Leaders.
